Helping Naturelands Animals

Year 4 CWSA have been trying to make it more enjoyable for animals at Natureland Zoo. We have the privilege to design an activity to enrich the animals lives. So far it has been successful. We all have a number of ideas that will help them learn strategies and thinking skills.

Communicating Through images

Memories often make us feel happy or sad and familiar objects can trigger lots of memories. In CWSA we have picked an object from home that has memories. We have created a piece of art using colours, symbols, shapes, lines and feelings as a background for our object. These will help us show what we remember and feel about are object. This activity helps us to think about emotions and messages images give us.

Elements of Photography

We have been learning about the elements of photography, some of them are: Colour, Texture and Perspectives. These elements create feelings about the picture. The year 5/6 group have been going outside with a buddy and taking photos with these elements. We will post some of the photos we have taken onto our blog.
